Overall Responsibilities And Duties

Full Software development life cycle of Android projects in JAVA/Kotlin. Core competency in Automotive embedded software development.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Minimum Education Level

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science.

Experience

• Master/Bachelor of engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science with prior experience of minimum 2-3 years in Automotive Software Development on Android (AOSP/AAOS) in JAVA/Kotlin and Overall experience should be 5 to 8 years
• Experience on Android HMI development for building system and user apps.

Skills And Competencies

• Good understanding of Android architecture and framework
• Experience in Application development for Android (JAVA/Kotlin development, Android studio, Jetpack compose)
• Good knowledge in HMI wireframing/prototyping for Android (Figma)
• Good understanding of continuous build using Jenkins, Linux tools.
• Experience in integration and validation methodologies.
• Experience with requirement management, revision control, issue-tracking, review tools IBM Doors/IBM RTC(EWM)/IBM rhapsody/JIRA/GITLab/GERRIT etc.
• Experience of working in SCRUM team in Agile methodology.
• Support to Junior Developers
• Problem solving techniques & capability.
• Strong debugging and log analysis skills
