Role Name:Lab / Process Engineer Trainee

Commitmnet: 18 Months

Salary: Upto 20,000 Per Month

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on role involving zinc recovery and electrowinning operations at our Ranipet facility. You will be trained in both laboratory analysis and plant operations, working directly on real industrial processes. Extensive on-the-job training will be provided from day one.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education: Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech in any of the following:

2. Chemical Engineering / Metallurgy / Chemistry

3. Experience: Fresher / 0–1 year.

4. Prior internship in a chemical or process industry is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lab Work

• Chemical analysis (Zn %, impurities, pH)
• Sample preparation and testing
• Maintain lab records and reports

Process / Plant Work

• Assist in leaching, purification, and electrowinning
• Monitor current/voltage, temperature, and pH
• Support daily plant operations

Data & Process Improvement

• Record and track process data consistently
• Assist in improving recovery efficiency, product purity, and energy usage

WORK STRUCTURE

• 3-shift rotational operation
• Role involves both lab work and shop-floor / plant operations

TRAINING & COMMITMENT

• Extensive hands-on training provided across lab and plant functions
• Minimum 18-month lock-in period required due to the depth of specialized training invested

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Basic understanding of chemical / process engineering concepts
• Willingness to work in an industrial environment (shift-based, hands-on)
• Strong observation, documentation, and reporting skills
• Practical, learning-oriented mindset with attention to detail

• Zinc recycling process: ash to refined metal
• Electrowinning technology and cell operations
• Industrial process monitoring and control
• Scaling up from lab-scale experiments to full plant operations
