Soltera is a veteran-owned, automation-first roofing and renovation company serving Maryland - Frederick to Baltimore, Prince George's County, Anne Arundel County, and Southern Maryland.

We run lean, move fast, and use technology to handle the back-office work so our sales reps can stay in front of customers.

We are building our sales team and looking for closers who want to control their own income.

This Role Is Built Differently

Most roofing companies ask their sales reps to do everything - walk roofs, write estimates, manage jobs, chase materials. We do not work that way.

You will never walk a roof. You do not need a truck. You do not need roofing experience.

Our inspection team handles every roof assessment. Our admin team handles scheduling, production, and client follow-up after the sale. Our systems handle the paperwork.

Your only job is to be in front of people, build trust, and close deals.

What You Will Do

• Meet with homeowners and commercial property owners to present roofing solutions
• Generate your own leads through door knocking, canvassing, referrals, and networking
• Work company-provided leads when available
• Guide prospects from first conversation to signed contract
• Hand off to our team after the sale - they take it from there

Pay Structure

• Company-provided leads: 30% of net job profit
• Self-generated leads: 40% of net job profit
• Performance bonuses paid monthly based on closed volume
• Average job profit ranges from $1,500 to $6,000+ depending on scope
• Top reps in this market earn $70,000-$120,000+ annually

Who We Are Looking For

• You have sold something - solar, home security, pest control, real estate, insurance, home improvement, D2D, anything consultative
• You are comfortable starting conversations with strangers and following up without being told
• You have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license - that is all you need
• You are hungry and self-directed
• Roofing experience is not required
