Special Education Teacher
Soliant is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in Alexandria, Virginia.
Position Details
- Full-Time
- 40 Hours per Week
- 2026-2027 School Year
- 1 Position Available
- Onsite Position
Caseload Information
- 1:1 Support Role
- 1st Grade Student
- Student presents with behavioral needs
- Experience supporting students with Autism and ADHD is highly preferred
- Strong administrative support available on-site
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized academic and behavioral support
- Implement IEP goals and behavior intervention strategies
- Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
- Foster a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment
Qualifications
- Active Virginia Special Education Teaching License preferred
- Candidates with RBT or BCBA credentials will also be considered
- Experience working with students with behavioral needs required
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and behavior management skills
