Field Service Engineer Solar Power Systems

As a Field Service Engineer at SOLAR CONNECT | EGRID 24BY7, you will play a crucial role in the service and maintenance of solar power systems and EV charging infrastructure in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Your expertise in handling On-Grid, Off-Grid, Hybrid Solar Systems, EV Chargers, and strong technical troubleshooting skills will be key in ensuring the seamless operations of renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot various solar systems including On-grid, Off-grid, Hybrid, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and rectify low generation issues.
• Coordinate with OEM technical support and conduct inverter configuration.
• Guide and manage labour teams for solar panel cleaning and minor rectification works.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot AC & DC EV chargers.
• Submit timely service reports, maintain breakdown logs, and record warranty cases.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Solar PV systems, AC & DC electrical systems, batteries, and earthing & surge protection.
• Ability to read Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and basic laptop skills for monitoring portal configuration.
• Experience in rooftop solar service and EV charging is advantageous.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics.
• 25 years of relevant field experience, with rooftop solar service experience preferred.
