Essential Qualifications
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) + two years of experience or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT).
Essential Requirements
- Experience in blood and other types of sample collection in hospital and/or field settings.
Preferred skills and experience
- Experience working in a field-based research setting.
- Experience in processing blood samples in a laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Collection of blood samples in the field.
- Collection of stool samples and other biological specimens, as required.
- Performing daily field and laboratory activities.
- Ensuring smooth operations at the laboratory processing unit.
- Maintaining laboratory supplies and infrastructure-related requirements.
- Coordinating specimen transport from field sites to the designated laboratory in consultation with technical leads and team members.
- Completing relevant forms and maintaining accurate documentation and records.
Salary: commensurate with experience.
