We are seeking an experienced Payroll professional to join a large-scale payroll transformation project supporting the conversion from SAP to Dayforce. This 12-month term role is heavily focused on project-based payroll conversion, testing, validation, and process improvement, and steady-state operations.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
- Supporting the conversion of payroll processing from SAP to Dayforce, including data validation, parallel testing, and issue resolution.
- Participating in system and user acceptance testing (UAT) for the new payroll platform
- Analyzing and resolving payroll issues
- Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes
- Performing employee master data processing while consistently meeting or exceeding established service level agreements (SLA)
- Providing Payroll customer service to HR Business Partners, Franchise Operators, people leaders and employees
- Executing various exception reports to identify payroll errors
- Ensuring all payroll master data records are maintained in accordance with company policy and data governance
- Auditing key payroll data elements to ensure data accuracy
- Assisting with special projects/research/other duties as assigned
What you have to offer:
- 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, ideally in a large or unionized environment
- Hands-on experience with Dayforce; SAP HR/Payroll experience is a strong asset
- Strong administrative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
