Job Description
Role Overview:
You will be a Data Scientist responsible for analyzing, modeling, and fusing magnetometer, IMU, and UAV telemetry data for precision navigation and anomaly detection in real-world hardware-integrated environments. You will collaborate closely with quantum hardware and drone engineering teams to design and implement data pipelines, fusion models, and inference architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build scalable data ingestion, preprocessing, and cleaning pipelines for magnetometer, IMU, and UAV telemetry data.
- Develop and train physics-informed ML models for trajectory estimation, drift correction, and anomaly detection.
- Implement Kalman/Particle filters and deep sensor fusion frameworks (LSTM, Transformer, or Graph-based).
- Fuse magnetic, inertial, and positional data to achieve robust localization under GPS-denied conditions.
- Generate magnetic anomaly maps and heatmaps from airborne and terrestrial survey statistical analysis, clustering, and signal denoising.
- Work with hardware engineers to design data interfaces and synchronization standards for live acquisition.
- Participate in field calibration, testing, and post-mission data algorithms, results, and contribute to proposal writing and IP filings.
Qualifications Required:
- B.Tech / M.Tech / Ph.D. in Data Science, Physics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or Applied with at least 8 years of experience in multi-sensor data analytics, robotics, or scientific ML.
- Proven expertise in Python, NumPy/Pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Scikit-learn.
- Strong grasp of signal processing (Fourier/wavelet transforms) and noise modeling.
- Experience with geospatial tools (GeoPandas, QGIS, rasterio) and sensor fusion frameworks.
- Familiarity with Kalman filtering, Bayesian statistics, and time-series modeling.
- Prior work involving UAV telemetry, inertial data, or magnetic field mapping preferred.
Additional Details:
You will have the opportunity to pioneer AI-driven quantum sensing and navigation technologies in India while working alongside a multidisciplinary R&D team of physicists, engineers, and AI researchers. You will have access to cutting-edge datasets and hardware infrastructure, and competitive compensation, milestone bonuses, and IP participation opportunities are provided. Role Overview:
