Job Description
As a Loan Processor, your role involves working on end-to-end loan application processing. You will be responsible for evaluating the client's serviceability and borrowing capacity, researching, structuring, lodging, and managing finance applications through to settlement. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating clients' financial position, borrowing capacity, and servicing.
- Conducting lender and policy analysis and negotiations to meet client outcomes.
- Interpreting complex financial documents for self-employed and entity structure clients and determining loan structures to achieve client outcomes.
- Compiling finance applications by working with clients and the loan administration team to complete living expenses analysis, supporting document collation, application preparation, and lodgement.
- Working closely with the broker and onshore team.
- Liaising with clients throughout the loan application process on behalf of the broker.
- Liaising with lenders and their business development managers throughout the application process, where required.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in end-to-end processing and administration of loans with Australian Mortgage Broking or as an underwriter in the US Mortgage Industry or the Indian Banking System.
- Experience in using AFG FLEX, Broker engine, Quickli, Mercury Nexus, Podium, or other AU mortgage CRM.
- Experience with complex finance calculations, document/application preparation, and knowledge of credit.
- Understanding how to read financial documents and consider appropriate structuring options will be highly regarded.
- Experience with Apply Online (NextGen), Broker Engine, and other mortgage broking tool.
