Mechanical Service Engineer

As a Mechanical Service Engineer at SM Food Engineering Pvt Ltd, your role will involve performing daily troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of snack food processing machinery. You will be responsible for providing technical support, ensuring operational efficiency, and conducting field service visits to address technical issues and deliver optimal performance solutions for clients. Effective communication with clients and team members to identify and resolve technical challenges will be a key aspect of your job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for mechanical and technical issues
• Experience in providing on-site field service and support
• Effective communication skills for building strong client relationships and collaboration
• Expertise in maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Flexibility and willingness to travel for fieldwork
• Ability to perform mechanical work, including installation and commissioning of equipment, with a basic understanding of electrical & instrumentation side
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems independently

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 2-4 or more years experience as a Mechanical Service Engineer
• Experience in the food processing or equipment industry is a plus
• Those accustomed to extensive traveling both in India & abroad are preferred
• Salary based on performance
