Role Description:

Sloane Strategy is seeking a contract content creator to support on-site content capture across a range of clients in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. This role is focused on iPhone-first content creation, with an emphasis on capturing brand-aligned visuals in real time across different environments, aesthetics, and industries. Engagement will be a few times per month, depending on client needs. This role is best suited for someone with prior experience capturing content for brands or client-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture photo and video content on-site for client accounts
• Follow curated shot list information
• Execute content aligned with each brand’s tone, style, and strategy
• Work efficiently in live environments including batch content shoots, events, and professional settings
• Capture a mix of lifestyle, detail, and environment-focused content
• Collaborate with the Sloane Strategy team on content direction when needed
• Ability to capture high-quality photography using a professional camera (preferred)

Qualifications

• Based in the DC, MD, or VA area with reliable transportation
• Flexible schedule with availability for shoots during business hours, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Strong eye for composition, lighting, and movement
• 2-5 years experience shooting primarily iPhone content
• Has knowledge of utilizing tech tools: mini mic with iPhone, tripods, gimbals, etc.
• Ability to adapt quickly across different brand aesthetics
• Must be comfortable working independently on-site while maintaining brand standards
• Reliable and punctual for scheduled shoots
• Able to work flexible hours, weekends, and shoot days ranging from 1-8 hour durations
• Organized, reliable, and professional on-site
• Photography experience or background (preferred but not required)
• Experience capturing content for social media or brands

Role Details:

• Contract, as-needed basis (a few shoots per month)
• Flexible scheduling based on client needs
• Compensation provided per shoot (based on scope and experience)
• Start Date: Rolling, with immediate need
