Role Overview

This is a remote (Work From Home) role for a Storyboard & Animatics Artist (2D) based in Kerala. You will be responsible for creating engaging storyboards and 2D animatics that serve as the vital visual blueprint for our 3D animation team. You will work closely with our creative directors to map out timing, camera angles, and initial character acting for our vibrant nursery rhymes and digital content.

Artist’s Location: Candidates based in Kerala are preferred.

What You'll Do

• Storyboarding & Animatics: Translate scripts and song concepts into clear, dynamic 2D animatics that guide the 3D production pipeline.
• Musical Timing: Edit and pace your storyboard panels perfectly to the beat of nursery rhymes and background tracks.
• Camera & Staging: Plan clear camera angles, framing, and scene transitions that are easy for young audiences to follow and translate smoothly into a 3D environment.
• Character Expression: Sketch out character acting, poses, and facial expressions to give the 3D animators a strong foundation to build upon.

Must Haves

• Strong skills in storyboarding and visual storytelling (composition, framing, camera angles, pacing)
• Ability to create clear, engaging animatics with proper timing and shot flow
• Strong understanding of cinematography principles (shot types, transitions, visual continuity)
• Ability to interpret scripts and convert them into visual sequences efficiently
• Must be currently residing in Kerala.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in storyboarding, animatics, or related work
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio or video link showcasing 2D animatics, storyboards, or timing tests.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or interest in using Blender (specifically Grease Pencil) is a strong plus.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Animation, Fine Arts, Film, or a related field.
• Must be currently residing in Kerala.
• Ability to sync animatics with dialogue, music, and sound effects for better storytelling impact
