Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Field Service Engineer (Network) to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure at customer locations. The candidate will be responsible for supporting broadband and fiber network services, ensuring stable connectivity, and resolving technical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure routers, switches, and other networking devices at customer sites.
- Support broadband, leased line, and fiber internet installations.
- Perform fiber and LAN cable laying, termination, and basic testing.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and provide on-site technical support.
- Coordinate with the NOC team for network issue escalation and resolution.
- Conduct site visits and surveys for new service installations.
- Ensure proper installation and maintenance of network equipment.
- Maintain daily service reports and installation documentation.
- Provide prompt technical support to customers and ensure service quality.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP).
- Experience with router and switch installation and configuration.
- Understanding of fiber optic and structured cabling.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in field operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Networking, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in network field support, ISP, or telecom operations.
Preferred
- Experience with FTTH, GPON, broadband, or leased line networks.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Willingness to travel for field service operations.
