Overview
Skyborne Games (Canada) is an established indie mobile game studio specializing in crafting cozy idle games for female players. Founded by developers from Riot Games, Electronic Arts, DreamWorks Animation in 2015, we are a lean and efficient team where every team member jumps in to collaborate on creating the best player experiences. Our ideal candidate is passionate and ambitious gamer ready to make their mark on performance-driven advertising.
We are looking for a Creative Designer - Performance Marketing to join the Adorable Garden team, where you will design and implement creative strategy across all marketing channels (Meta, TikTok, Google, Applovin). This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the Growth Lead to design and create video and static creatives across our paid channels.
All Skyborne team members start on a 2 month contract before transitioning to full-time.
This role is Remote / Hybrid in British Columbia, Canada only. Only candidates located within BC or willing to relocate to BC will be eligible.

Responsibilities
Produce motion graphics, edit gameplay capture to optimize for social media advertising including on Meta, TikTok and Youtube
Craft compelling static ads to drive digital marketing KPIs.
Iterate on creatives to optimize for marketing metrics.
Partner with Growth Lead to plan and execute creative testing roadmaps.
Maintain a balance of creative quality against fast production requirements.
Explore and establish AI assisted workflows to improve creative hit rates.
Requirements
3-5+ years of in a marketing designer / marketing motion graphics designer or equivalent role
Strong portfolio showcasing both static and video creatives, demonstrating a range of marketing creative formats (UGC, Gameplay, Story-Based, Mislead, Meme)
Innate understanding of trends for the female mobile audience.
Strong design, color, composition, typography, storytelling and ideation skills.
Strong intuition on how to balance quality vs speed of execution.
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Willingness to explore AI assisted workflows.
Team player - You listen deeply to others and communicate clearly.
Adaptability - Good creatives sometimes require feedback and iteration. You can balance feedback with your vision.
Motivated - You’re hungry to learn and work diligently to improve your skills.
Preferred Requirements
Experience in video games marketing.
Understanding of marketing metrics such as CTR, CPM, ROAs, and levers within a creative to improve them.
Love video games, especially mobile games.
Knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects and Unity.
TikTok / Instagram with original 2D animated content with 50K+ views.
