Skills for Life is a nonprofit organization focused on empowering youth through mentorship, skills training, and employment pathways. We are currently expanding our outreach and need support optimizing our digital presence.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist (preferably with nonprofit experience) to help improve our online visibility and assist with managing and troubleshooting digital ads.

We currently have an advertising budget but are facing challenges with ad approvals and optimization. Your expertise will help us effectively reach our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct SEO audits and implement optimization strategies
• Improve website rankings and search visibility
• Assist with Google Ads / Meta Ads setup and troubleshooting
• Identify and resolve issues with ad disapprovals
• Optimize campaigns to maximize reach and conversions
• Provide recommendations for keyword strategy and content alignment
• Support tracking and analytics (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in SEO and digital marketing
• Experience working with nonprofits (strong asset)
• Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and ad policy compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and provide actionable insights
