Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and backhoes safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately.
• Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the job site.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to heavy machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job.
• Valid driver's license and relevant heavy equipment operator certification.
