Job Title: Senior Instructional Designer – Video-Based Learning

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Instructional Designer to join our Design team. This role is

pivotal in creating high-quality, engaging video-based learning materials on cutting-edge topics such as

technology, data, AI, and digital operations. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and

various stakeholders to develop and enhance learning experiences that resonate with diverse audiences.

Essential Job Functions:

● Collaborate with different stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand

program scope.

● Demonstrate a fast-learning approach and adaptability to video development tools, while

owning the end-to-end video development process with quality as the benchmark.

● You will develop a strong grasp of the subject matter for each video you create and take full

ownership of its quality.

● You will be responsible for reviewing the final output owning the overall qualit and

identifying major roadblocks early during scrum calls.

● Work with the team and SMEs to develop end-user learning materials. Materials will include

storyboards, course videos, eLearning presentations, hands-on projects, trainer instruction

documents, and audio scripts.

● Collaborate with leads and team members to suggest innovative ideas to enhance processes.

● Continuously research and integrate the latest instructional design trends and technologies

to enhance learning outcomes.

Essential and Critical Skills:

● 3-5 years of experience as an Instructional Designer.

● Experience with developing video-based training modules.

● Experience with developing instructor-led training materials.

● Experience in developing Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 animation-based learning content.

● Effective oral and written communication skills.

● Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint).

● Familiar with Generative AI tools like ChatGPT, and capable of integrating them into the

instructional design process.

● Experience in developing storyboards, audio scripts, projects, and other study materials.

● Experience in working with different teams, cultures, and industries.

● Ability to work effectively in an agile, continuously evolving, and sometimes ambiguous

environment.

Good to Have Knowledge:

● Basic tech and coding knowledge.

● Ability to understand and work on niche technologies like AI, cloud, blockchain, etc.

● Knowledge of software tools for video production or e-learning development (e.g., Adobe

Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Canva).
