Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer at SimCorp, you will be an integral part of the Product Division in the Portfolio Analysis Product Area, specifically working on the Asset Manager / Portfolio Manager a multi-tenant cloud application for portfolio positions, analytical views, and AI-assisted portfolio management workflows. Your role will involve collaborating with an agile team to work on an exciting new initiative: AI-powered portfolio management, which aims to revolutionize how Portfolio Managers approach problem-solving and decision-making.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Drive frontend development for Portfolio Manager and AI-powered portfolio management experiences.
- Design and implement maintainable Angular user interfaces and reusable components.
- Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts, real-time updates, and integration patterns.
- Contribute to quality practices through automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD improvements.
- Help shape the technical direction of a cloud-native, multi-tenant product.
- Work with product managers, UX, and engineering colleagues to turn client needs into tangible product outcomes.
- Continuously improve performance, reliability, maintainability, and developer experience.
- *Qualifications Required:**
- Hands-on experience with Angular 18+, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with API communication layers such as REST, GraphQL, or WebSocket.
- Proficiency in automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, JUnit, or Mockito.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and delivery tooling, preferably Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Docker and container-based development workflows.
- Beneficial knowledge of AG Grid / AG Charts, Lit framework, ASP.NET Core or other backend technologies, event-driven, streaming, or real-time application patterns, and AI-assisted product experiences or Copilot-style interaction models.
