Position summary

Sikich is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager. This role is contingent upon award of contract

What will you do in this role?

• Experience supporting Federal programs involving legislative, policy, or FOIA coordination
• Provide overall program management, leadership, and oversight across all assigned task areas
• Oversee delivery of financial reporting, audit support, data quality, program operations, and financial management services
• Coordinate with client leadership, CORs, and Government stakeholders to align priorities, schedules, and funding requirements
• Manage staffing, resource allocation, and task prioritization across project teams
• Monitor contract performance, risks, and issues; implement mitigation strategies and corrective actions
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Government COR
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, client policies, OMB guidance, and federal standards
• Deliver executive-level reporting, dashboards, metrics, and status briefings
• Support leadership on legislative, policy, and FOIA matters from an oversight and coordination perspective
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance across contractor teams
• Maintain integrated master schedules for deliverables, PBCs, quarterly reporting, NFRs, and CAP cycles
• Ensure traceability and documentation standards are maintained for all analytical products, including source systems, extract dates, query/report IDs, and version control

What do you need to succeed in this role?

• On-site in Washington, DC daily
• U.S. Citizen is required
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Project Management
• CPA or CGFM preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience leading Federal financial, budget, and audit support projects
• Minimum 10 years of experience serving as an audit liaison supporting external Federal auditors
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing multi-disciplinary teams supporting data quality, audit, and financial management initiatives

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $150,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
