Security Officer Tactical

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Tactical Security Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement, surveillance, and loss prevention, with the ability to respond effectively to various security situations. This role involves monitoring premises, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and assets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety.
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to identify suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or other security threats.
• Document incidents accurately and prepare detailed reports for management review.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing preventative measures.
• Maintain a visible presence to reassure staff and visitors of their safety.
• Collaborate with other security personnel to coordinate patrols and response strategies.

Skills

• Proven experience or background in law enforcement or security operations.
• Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures.
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to identify potential threats quickly.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergency situations.
• Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally.
