Shift Supervisor - Sheet Metal Fabrication

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, setting, and troubleshooting of VMC and CNC Turning Machines (Fanuc Control).
• Monitor machine utilization on an hourly basis and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications.
• Possess strong knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, sheet metal fabrication processes, and machining operations.
• Ensure achievement of shift-wise production targets in terms of quality, quantity, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct rejection analysis, identify root causes, and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to minimize defects.
• Effectively manage and supervise a workforce of approximately 25 employees during the shift.
• Monitor inventory levels, control material consumption, and reduce WIP (Work-in-Progress) costs.
• Drive productivity improvement initiatives and cost-saving projects to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure strict adherence to 5S practices, safety standards, and maintain a clean and organized shop floor environment.
• Prepare daily production reports, machine utilization reports, manpower reports, and other MIS reports using MS Office applications.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Planning departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations during shift operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
