Associate Chemical Engineer

About the job:

Diviniti is establishing a specialized electroplating manufacturing unit for gold-plated nickel foils and silver-plated resin idols

We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Electroplating Engineer who can independently manage process setup, optimization, and production scale-up while maintaining premium quality standards

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up and manage gold electroplating on nickel foils

2. Handle silver plating on resin/polymer idols, including conductive coating

3. Prepare, monitor, and maintain plating baths (nickel, gold, silver)

4. Control process parameters such as current density, voltage, temperature, and pH

5. Troubleshoot plating defects such as peeling, blistering, burning, pinholes, and dull finish

6. Ensure uniform thickness, strong adhesion, and premium surface finish

7. Reduce precious metal loss and improve bath life and recovery

8. Establish SOPs for production, inspection, and rework

9. Train and supervise plating technicians and operators

10. Coordinate with vendors for chemicals, rectifiers, jigs, and consumables

11. Ensure compliance with EHS norms and Pollution Control Board regulations

Compensation

1. Best in industry - commensurate with experience

• 9. Diploma/BE/BTech in chemical engineering, metallurgical engineering, surface engineering, or materials science
• 10. Strong hands-on technical expertise
• 11. Ability to set up operations from scratch
• 12. Quality-driven with cost control focus
• 13. Strong leadership and training capabilities
• 14. 1-2 years of experience
