We are seeking a Senior Fundraising & NGO Manager who will be responsible for leading the organization’s fundraising strategy, make and maintain donor relations, grant acquisition, and overall operational management. This role ensures financial sustainability, program effectiveness, compliance, and long-term growth of the NGO.
The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker, strong relationship builder, and experienced nonprofit leader with a proven track record in securing diverse funding streams.
Key Responsibilities1. Fundraising Strategy & Revenue Development
· Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with organizational goals.
· Identify and secure funding from institutional donors, foundations, corporate partners, and high-net-worth individuals.
· Lead grant writing efforts, including proposal development, budgeting, and reporting.
· Develop diversified funding streams (grants, corporate sponsorships, events, digital campaigns, major gifts).
· Establish annual fundraising targets and monitor progress.
2. Donor & Stakeholder Management
· Build and maintain long-term relationships with donors and partners.
· Develop donor stewardship plans and engagement strategies.
· Represent the organization at external meetings, conferences, and networking events.
· Prepare impact reports and communication materials for stakeholders.
3. Organizational & Operational Leadership
· Oversee daily operations of the NGO.
· Supervise program managers and administrative staff.
· Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements.
· Support strategic planning and board reporting.
· Develop policies and systems to improve efficiency and transparency.
4. Financial Oversight
· Collaborate with finance teams on budgeting and financial planning.
· Monitor project budgets and funding allocations.
· Ensure accurate and timely donor reporting.
5. Communications & Brand Development
· Support marketing and communications strategies to increase visibility.
· Oversee fundraising campaigns (digital, events, partnerships).
· Strengthen the organization’s public profile and credibility.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, International Development, or related field (Master’s preferred).
· 7+ years of progressive experience in fundraising and nonprofit leadership.
· Demonstrated success in securing grants and managing donor portfolios.
· Strong grant writing and proposal development skills.
· Experience managing teams and overseeing operations.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Strong financial literacy and budgeting experience.
· Experience working with international donors and development agencies.
· Knowledge of compliance requirements for nonprofit organizations.
· Experience with CRM systems and donor databases.
· Established network within philanthropic or development sectors.
