Job Description

We are hiring experienced professionals for US Residential Mortgage Lead / Assistant Manager roles with strong expertise in Mortgage Origination, Underwriting, Team Management, and Residential Lending Operations .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead teams within US Residential Mortgage operations .
• Handle end-to-end mortgage lifecycle including:
• Origination
• Processing
• Pre-Closing
• Post-Closing
• Underwriting
• Ensure team productivity, SLA adherence, and process excellence.
• Drive operational efficiency across wholesale, retail, and correspondent lending processes.
• Mentor and manage associates/TLs/AMs within the mortgage operations team.
• Ensure compliance with US mortgage lending guidelines and underwriting standards.

Required Skills Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in US Residential Mortgage domain
• Team Handling Experience:
• 46 years mortgage exp: Managed 20+ associates
• 810 years mortgage exp: Managed 100+ associates / TL / AM
• Strong domain expertise in:
• US Residential Mortgage
• Origination / Pre-Closing / Post-Closing / Processing / Underwriting
• Knowledge of:
• US Mortgage Origination Guidelines
• LOS Systems
• Automated Underwriting Systems (AUS)
• Custom Underwriting Software
• Familiarity with:
• FNMA Guidelines
• FHLMC Guidelines
• Experience handling all income types:
• Wage
• Pension
• SSA
• Disability
• Self-employed
• Rental Income
• Experience in all loan products:
• FHA
• VA
• USDA
• Conventional Loans
• Understanding of:
• Wholesale / Retail / Correspondent Lending Guidelines
• CRU Certification preferred
• Excellent communication and articulation skills
• Flexible to work in any shifts
