About the Role

Sher E Punjab Radio is seeking a dynamic and organized Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of our on-ground and promotional initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced media environment and is passionate about creating engaging community experiences that amplify brand presence and audience connection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and execute all station-led events including live on-location broadcasts, community activations, and cultural events (e.g., Vaisakhi, festivals, concerts).
• Design and manage on-air and digital contests from concept to execution, including rules, logistics, prize fulfillment, and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to align event strategies with client campaigns and sponsorship opportunities.
• Coordinate with the Production Team to ensure all audio, creative assets, and on-site technical needs are delivered seamlessly.
• Work with the Social Media Team to promote events and contests across all digital platforms, ensuring maximum reach and engagement.
• Develop event timelines, budgets, and logistics plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Manage vendor relationships, permits, equipment rentals, and staffing for events.
• Represent Sher E Punjab Radio at community events, maintaining a professional and engaging brand presence.
• Track and report on event performance, audience engagement, and campaign success.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in event planning, promotions, or a related field (media experience is an asset).
• Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging event and contest concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends as required for events.
• Familiarity with South Asian community events and culture is a strong asset.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
