Underwriter - Wholesale Lending

Responsibilities

• Conduct appraisal and underwriting of wholesale lending proposals.
• Assess creditworthiness, financial viability, and risk factors of loan applications.
• Prepare detailed credit notes and recommendations for approval.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and risk management standards.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and risk teams to structure proposals effectively.

Requirements

• Prior experience in wholesale lending underwriting is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial assessment skills.
• Knowledge of credit risk, loan structuring, and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to work under tight timelines with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
