Job Summary

The Demand Planner will be responsible for managing end-to-end demand planning, operations coordination, and supply chain activities. The role involves close collaboration with sales, procurement, and production teams to ensure accurate forecasting, efficient inventory management, and timely order fulfilment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end operations planning and actively support sales forecasting activities
• Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales inputs
• Manage supply chain activities including procurement planning and vendor coordination
• Track and monitor end-to-end order lifecycle to ensure timely dispatch and delivery
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Production, QA, Logistics) for smooth operations
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize stock-outs or overstock situations
• Analyze demand patterns, identify gaps, and provide actionable insights to management
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for business review
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and reports
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and operational processes

Analytical Tools & Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Exposure to demand planning tools
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) for reporting and analysis
• Strong understanding of forecasting techniques (trend analysis, seasonality, variance analysis)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
