OVERVIEW
We are looking for a talented mechanical engineer to design innovative systems and components for AI-driven robots. In this role, you'll create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for fabrication, collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with electrical and software systems, conduct mechanical simulations and performance testing, and optimize designs for cost, efficiency, and manufacturability.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and Testing:
- Design mechanical systems and components for AI-driven robots.
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for fabrication.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components with electrical and software systems.
- Optimize designs for cost, efficiency, and manufacturability.
- Willingness to travel ≈ 25%
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, particularly in robotics or automation.
- Experience in industrial design or special purpose machinery is a plus
Skills
- Proficiency with CAD tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
- Understanding of mechanical testing and prototyping processes.
- Strong knowledge of material properties, manufacturing methods, and system integration.
