NOW HIRING – SECURITY OFFICERS, ARMED SECURITY OFFICERS & ON-SITE SUPERVISORS SAM Inc. –Alexandria, VA Security Guard Services Contract
SAM Inc. is seeking qualified Security Officer (Unarmed), Security Officer (Armed), and On-Site Supervisor (Armed) candidates for full- and part-time positions in Alexandria, VA.
Positions & Pay (Base Year – increases in option years):
- Security Officer (Unarmed): Starting Pay Rate $20.00 Per Hour
- Security Officer (Armed): Starting Pay Rate $24.00 Per Hour
- On-Site Supervisor (Armed): Starting Pay Rate $27.00 Per Hour _
Requirements
- Current Virginia DCJS registration and certification, including firearms training and live-fire qualification with Glock 17.
- Clean criminal background (Required).
- Professional appearance and demeanor; excellent communication/de-escalation skills.
- Reliable transportation; ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays.
- Must pass drug screen and required training.
- Uniforms provided; must adhere to strict uniform standards (white shirt, black tie/pants). All uniforms items are provided, at no cost to the officers except for shoes.
- 1–2 years of security experience preferred; prior military or law enforcement experience is highly desirable.
Duties Include: Access control, visitor screening (magnetometers/X-ray), roving patrols, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, and providing professional security presence at City facilities.
Shifts Available: Day, evening, midnight (full 24/7 coverage at some sites; Mon-Fri day/evening shifts at others). Great opportunity for stable contract work!
