We are seeking highly motivated security personnel for positions within a physical security environment specializing in the protection of Corporate client. You will have experience within an industrial environment within a warehouse or distribution center or a similar sector where you are responsible for protecting assets. You have strong customer service acumen with ability to resolve issues with a diverse background of individuals including visitors, truck drivers, contractors and client employees. You are able to perform internal and external patrols in cold and hot conditions.

Position Overview:

Location: Waterloo, Ontario

Available Shift Times: Various

Payrate: $26.00/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform access control provision duties, verify visitor badges and employee badges.
• Handling Escalation and emergencies for various client sites.
• Responding to alarms around the world where clients operate.
• Managing various tasks and updating based on priority.
• Using multiple computer systems to research products, services, common problems and solutions offered.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Managing calls and dispatched into internal company hotlines and dispatching accordingly.
• Report writing and detailed follow up on events, occurrences and requests.
• Working along directly with Client Team.
• Communicate with other countries through email and translating English into the language of the caller.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Ontario Security License.
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification.
• 2+ years of Security experience within a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player and outstanding customer service abilities.
• Must be available to work various shifts based on business needs.
• Attention to detail working in high pressured security environment.
• Experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) is preferred.
