Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Jnr Sous Chef to join our team and help us maintain our standards of excellence. Located in the heart of Mount Pleasant, we have a professional and passionate team, with a positive working environment. Our Sous Chef would train and lead the kitchen team for smooth daily operations. This position will mainly take care of our Corporate and private event clients, ensure the standard of our food is consistent.
Working Hours:
40 hour a week
Shift from 5am to 1.30 pm
Duties include
- Ability to cover all positions in the kitchen
- Lead, train and mentor our team members, with a positive influence
- Able to work independently, and fill the weekend orders from planning, start to finish
- Ensure food quality and service standard are being met
- Oversee daily food production and keeping track of staff working hours
- Communicate between our customer service team and kitchen team
- Ordering, monitor inventory
Requirement:
- Kitchen management and leadership experience
- High level of cooking experience with a wide variety of cuisines
- Self-motivated with demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills
- Driving License is a must. Occasionally will need to deliver food to client on the weekend.
