SD Industries specializes in metal, glass, and signage solutions, serving clients across the US market. We are expanding our remote sales team and looking for confident, target-driven individuals ready to build a career in international sales.
Role Overview
The Sales Representative will manage outbound sales activities for US clients, including cold calling, mass emailing, lead generation, and relationship management.
This role involves working across multiple sales verticals within the company. Candidates will be evaluated and tested across different verticals and assigned based on where they perform best and can deliver the strongest results.
Candidates should be open to learning different sales approaches and proactively identifying which vertical brings out their best performance.
Additionally, this role requires candidates with an engineering background (Civil or Mechanical preferred) who can understand construction drawings and project requirements to effectively communicate with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Make 100+ outbound calls daily
- Conduct cold calls to introduce company services
- Execute email campaigns for lead generation
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings
- Maintain CRM records and structured follow-ups
- Manage recurring clients and ensure retention
- Achieve daily, weekly & monthly sales targets
- Work across multiple sales verticals and adapt based on performance
- Understand project drawings and basic construction concepts to communicate effectively with clients
- Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
- Ability to read and understand construction/shop drawings
- Basic understanding of construction processes and project flow
- Strong American accent / Neutral accent (mandatory – US clients)
- Clear, professional speaking voice and confidence in handling high-volume calls
- Comfortable with extensive outbound calling
- Strong persuasion and rapport-building skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel (data tracking, reporting, organization)
- Basic email usage and strong professional email writing skills
- Basic knowledge of CRM & MS Office
Preferred Qualification
- Prior exposure to construction, engineering, or technical sales is a plus
