After Effects Walkthrough & Motion Artist Gurugram

Role Overview:

We are looking for an After Effects artist to work alongside our in-house 3D Visualization team. The 3D artist provides rendered walkthrough sequences, animation passes and stills; this role takes that output and builds the complete, delivery-ready walkthrough video — compositing, motion graphics, editing, sound and final polish. The focus is entirely on post-production and finishing in After Effects, not 3D modelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Import rendered 3D walkthrough sequences and render passes from the 3D visualization team and assemble the complete walkthrough video in After Effects.
• Composite shots, sequence them, and build smooth transitions and camera moves between segments (exterior, interiors, clubhouse, landscape, villas).
• Create motion graphics — titles, lower-thirds, project branding, callouts and info overlays.
• Enhance footage with sky / environment effects, lighting touch-ups, color correction and grading.
• Add background music, voiceover sync and sound design.
• Export delivery-ready videos in required formats, resolutions and aspect ratios for presentations, investor pitches, social media and marketing.
• Use AI tools to speed up and enhance output — upscaling and frame interpolation of rendered footage, AI-generated b-roll / environment shots, sky and background generation, AI voiceover, and AI-assisted rotoscoping / masking.
• Coordinate closely with the 3D artist on render requirements (passes, camera timing, resolution) so the footage cuts together cleanly.
• Maintain organized project files, assets and final exports.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years in video post-production / motion graphics, ideally with architectural or real estate walkthroughs.
• Strong, demonstrable command of After Effects (compositing, motion graphics, effects).
• Working knowledge of Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve for editing and color grading, and Photoshop.
• Good sense of pacing, camera movement, music sync and cinematic storytelling.
• Ability to work with rendered 3D footage and multi-pass renders (knowledge of EXR / render passes is a plus).
• Familiarity with AI tools for video post-production is a strong plus — e.g. Topaz Video AI (upscaling / frame interpolation), Runway / Luma / Adobe Firefly (generative video, b-roll and backgrounds), ElevenLabs (AI voiceover), and AE’s AI-assisted features (Roto Brush, Content-Aware Fill).
• A showreel / portfolio of completed walkthrough or motion videos is required.

Education

• Degree / diploma in Animation, Multimedia, VFX, Film / Video Editing or related field from a recognised institution. A strong portfolio can outweigh formal qualification.
