About the Job

We are looking for a passionate Cloud Engineer to join our team who is responsible for owning and building the cloud offerings used across all of Saxo. Today our focus is Microsoft Azure Cloud and private cloud (on-prem), but in the future our services might support other cloud platforms. We deliver:

• automation for provisioning core infrastructure components, security and cost control
• cost-effective and secure IaaS and PaaS Azure cloud resources via automation platforms to the developer community in Saxo .

We both build an d run our services. The keyword is automation.

We work closely with the other infrastructure teams in Saxo, ( Enterprise Server Services , Monitoring & Logging, Network, Container Platforms) and with Enterprise Architects to build pillars for a modern hybrid application hosting platform .

Responsibilities

As our new Cloud Engineer, you will help shape and scale the services that enable our customers to confidently deploy mission‑critical workloads across Azure and private cloud environments.

Further you will:

• Improve cost management and reporting ser vices
• Refactor and improve our automation solutions to pay down technical dept.
• Migrate existing automation in Azure to private cloud to adopt automation benefits.

Your Profile

You collaborate effectively within the team while taking clear ownership of your responsibilities. You are comfortable navigating complex topics and driving initiatives forward, always aiming to turn complexity into simple, high‑quality solutions.

Further you have:

• 3+ years of solid IT experience, with a strong focus on cloud and automati on to drive efficiency and scalability.
• Advanced skills in PowerShell, Azure , ARM templates, Azure DevOps Pipelines and Git, making you adept at streamlining processes and building robust automation solutions.

Nice-to-have skills:

Kubernetes and containerization.
