Project Manager/Construction Manager

As a Project Manager / Construction Manager at Sauber Environmental Solutions Private Limited, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), and water infrastructure projects. Your role will involve strong leadership, technical expertise in civil & MEP works, project planning capability, commercial understanding, and managing large multidisciplinary teams in EPC mode.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, commissioning, and handover.
• Develop project execution strategy aligned with contract requirements.
• Prepare and monitor detailed project schedules (MSP/Primavera preferred).
• Ensure project completion within timeline, budget, and quality standards.
• Supervise civil works such as excavation, RCC structures, and finishing works.
• Oversee mechanical, piping, and electrical coordination for STP/ETP plants.
• Manage subcontractors, site engineers, and ensure adherence to technical specifications.
• Study contract documents thoroughly and ensure compliance.
• Monitor BOQ quantities, cost control, and approve RA bills.
• Manage variation orders, extra items, and claims documentation.
• Coordinate with clients for certification and payments.
• Implement QA/QC systems per IS codes and project standards.
• Ensure concrete quality control through tests and inspections.
• Maintain site safety norms and conduct regular audits.
• Act as a single point of contact for clients/PMC.
• Attend review meetings, present progress reports, and maintain professional relationships.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, monitor productivity, and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and maintain project records for audit readiness.

Required Technical Competencies:

• Strong expertise in RCC water-retaining structures.
• Experience in STP/ETP/WTP projects (SBR technology preferred).
• Knowledge of IS codes, AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and EPC contracts.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience handling projects valued above 20 Crores preferred.
