We work with all types of corporate customers, ranging from large pharmaceutical and manufacturing firms, to entertainment studios and executive estates.<br><br><strong>The Lead Security Technician</strong> is responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting security systems and equipment through the development and execution of best-practice electronic, technical and mechanical workflows. This includes alarm systems, access control systems, video surveillance systems and other relevant security technologies that the company deploys. </p>
<p><strong>What to expect...<br></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Install, configure and service security systems that include integrated intrusion alarm, video surveillance and access control.</li>
<li>Conduct routine maintenance and testing to ensure proper functionality of security systems and equipment.</li>
<li>Identify and troubleshoot security system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.</li>
<li>Collaborate with customers to determine security needs and recommend appropriate equipment and technologies.</li>
<li>Provide technical support to customers and address questions or concerns related to security systems and equipment.</li>
<li>Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of the security software and hardware utilized and deployed by the company.</li>
<li>Stay current on local building and electrical codes.</li>
<li>Keep precise records of work performed. </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>You've got what it takes if you have...</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3+ Years experience as a Security Service Technician in a <span style="text-decoration: underline;">commercial</span> space. <em>*Required</em></li>
<li>Working knowledge of Genetec, Bosch and Lenel systems.</li>
<li>Computer skills that include Microsoft Office and (ideally) D-Tools, as well as the ability to use the internet as a research tool and resource.</li>
<li>Ability to interpret blueprints, plans and specifications.</li>
<li>Ability to climb ladders, work in ceilings, and work outdoors with boom lifts.</li>
<li>Clean driving record and ACE card (or the ability to obtain one).</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving and communication skills. </li>
<li>Ability to interact and communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, tradespeople and vendors.</li>
<li>Knowledge of applicable safety and security regulations and best practices. </li>
</ul>
