Role Overview:
At SAP SuccessFactors, you will be part of a Human Revolution where the focus is on unlocking human potential and transforming customer workforces with the latest technology. Your role will involve contributing to the development and continuous innovation of the SAP SuccessFactors product suite, supporting over 120 million users globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand current and target technical strategy, product roadmaps, and deliver solutions in alignment with them.
- Collaborate with Architects to design solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements, with a focus on security, scalability, testability, and maintainability.
- Coach team members to enhance their proficiency in development & quality processes and team technologies.
- Drive continuous improvement in designs and implementations while significantly contributing to the technical roadmap.
- Embrace a DevOps mindset, taking ownership of features from development to production deployment.
- Foster innovation and a continuous improvement mindset within the team and demonstrate innovation in deliverables.
- Troubleshoot critical production issues effectively.
Qualifications Required:
- BE/B.Tech/M.Tech (full-time) from premier universities with a strong academic background.
- 8-12 years of relevant experience with a solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset.
- Proven experience in designing and developing large-scale distributed and highly concurrent applications using Java/JEE and related technologies.
- Expertise in database programming, particularly in Oracle, including Complex SQL, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Query tuning, Execution plans, Indexes, etc. Knowledge of SAP HANA Database is a plus.
- Proficiency in Spring 3.0+, REST, OData, Kafka, ORM frameworks, and iBatis is preferred.
- Experience in Unit Testing and TDD/BDD methodologies.
- Knowledge of OOAD, Design Patterns, and anti-patterns.
- Familiarity with SaaS, multi-tenancy, Splunk, and any public cloud offering (Azure preferred).
- Working knowledge of Microservices, Domain Driven Design, and DevOps is advantageous.
- Proficient in Agile Methodologies and security principles like OWASP.
- Thorough understanding of the HTTP protocol including cookies and session persistence.
