Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Compositing Artist specializing in AI-integrated workflows at our Bengaluru office. We are looking for a Compositing Artist with AI knowledge who can bring together visual elements into polished final outputs while leveraging modern AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in compositing workflows, a sharp eye for detail, and an understanding of how AI tools can support production pipelines in animation and digital content creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality compositing for animation, video, and digital content
- Integrate multiple visual elements including backgrounds, characters, effects, lighting, and color
- Ensure final output quality in terms of color balance, lighting consistency, and realism/stylization
- Work closely with animation, design, VFX, and post-production teams
- Use tools like After Effects / Nuke / DaVinci Resolve to create seamless compositions
- Apply color grading, masking, rotoscoping, tracking, and keying techniques
- Utilize AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency (e.g., background generation, upscaling, cleanup, automation)
- Maintain file organization, naming conventions, and version control
- Deliver outputs as per project timelines and quality standards
- Participate in creative discussions to improve visual storytelling
Required Skills
Strong understanding of compositing principles and workflows
Hands-on experience with:
- Adobe After Effects
- Nuke (preferred but not mandatory)
- DaVinci Resolve
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe Photoshop
Knowledge of:
- Color correction & grading
- Keying (green/blue screen)
- Rotoscoping & masking
- Motion tracking
- Layer compositing & blending
Familiarity with AI-based tools such as:
- Runway ML / Stable Diffusion / Midjourney / Adobe Firefly
Understanding of AI-assisted production workflows
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in compositing / VFX / post-production
- Experience in animation studios, OTT content, films, or digital media
- Exposure to cultural, mythological, or storytelling content (bonus for Sanskriti)
- Basic understanding of editing and motion graphics
