Key Responsibilities

• Develop new applications and expand customer base in coordination with the sales team to enhance service offerings.
• Visit customers to understand operational issues and implement effective solutions within timelines.
• Advise top management on operational processes for efficient business scaling.
• Plan and manage raw materials, consumables, manpower, and resources to achieve production targets.
• Drive process improvements and optimize manufacturing operations using tools such as OEE, 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, and Visual Management.
• Improve team productivity through effective performance management, teamwork, and leadership.
• Ensure excellent customer experience through strong in-process quality systems and timely resolution of escalated concerns.
• Ensure on-time and complete delivery of products and services.
• Manage inventory control and optimize utilization of operational resources.
• Develop and maintain operational KPI dashboards to track and communicate business performance.
• Ensure implementation and compliance of workplace safety practices.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly manufacturing review meetings.
• Perform periodic internal audits and implement corrective actions to support ISO standards and organizational objectives.
• Provide customer support whenever required.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills and Experiences Required:

• Ability to evaluate and effectively manage resources, processes, and operations to successfully achieve production and commercial targets while ensuring focus on Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and Operational Efficiency.
• Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to lead cross-functional teams through strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in Quality Management Systems and quality control tools, including ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and related standards.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in inventory management techniques and material control processes.
• Working knowledge of ERP and MRP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or similar enterprise applications will be an added advantage.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other business productivity tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Strong team player with the capability to coach, mentor, motivate, and inspire team members toward achieving organizational goals.
• Positive attitude with high levels of self-motivation, drive, commitment, and enthusiasm.
• Strong commitment toward continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Metallurgy / Welding Engineering
• Minimum 10+ years of manufacturing experience
• Strong knowledge of production systems, ERP/MRP, inventory management, ISO standards
• Experience in welding and machining processes preferred
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of SAP / NetSuite / AutoCAD will be an advantage
