- Assist in the identification, assessment, and evaluation of mineral deposits including metals, non-metals, and industrial minerals.
- Collect, log, and analyse rock, soil, and drill core samples as part of systematic exploration programs.
- Support and carry out geophysical surveys (magnetic, gravity, seismic, resistivity, and related methods) to interpret subsurface geological structures.
- Assist in geochemical sampling programs, data compilation, and interpretation of geochemical anomalies.
- Participate in and support drilling programs including RC (Reverse Circulation), diamond, and rotary drilling, along with core logging and drill hole supervision.
- Prepare detailed geological logs, field notes, maps, cross-sections, and technical reports for internal and client use.
- Assist in the preparation of resource estimates, geological models, and mine planning data using relevant software.
- Maintain and ensure quality control of geological data, samples, and assay results throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work alongside mining engineers and site teams on active mine sites, open-pit and underground operations as required.
- Monitor geological conditions on site, flagging any hazards, structural risks, or significant observations to the project lead.
- Comply with all site safety protocols, HSE regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Travel to national and international project sites as required, including remote and logistically challenging locations.
- Be willing to relocate temporarily or permanently to project sites across Africa, Australia, the Middle East, or other regions.
Must-Have Requirements

- Understanding of geological and mining activities including exploration, resource estimation, mine geology, and grade control.
- Familiarity with geophysical survey methods such as magnetic, gravity, seismic, IP (induced polarisation), and EM surveys.
- Knowledge of geochemical sampling and interpretation techniques including soil, rock chip, and stream sediment sampling.
- Ability to read, interpret, and produce geological maps, cross-sections, borehole logs, and structural geology data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical report writing and cross-functional project collaboration.
- Physically fit and medically cleared to work in remote, outdoor, and challenging field environments.
- Willingness and full readiness to travel nationally and internationally for project assignments — including to Africa, Australia, and the Middle East.
