Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Experience 5 to 10 years

1. As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant, you will:

• Analyze business processes and design solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance capabilities
• Lead and participate in end-to-end implementation projects including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design, configuration, testing, UAT, and deployment
• Act as a client discovery lead, identifying both stated and unstated business challenges and proposing effective solutions
• Provide functional expertise across Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain modules
• Configure and implement core finance modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Banking, Cost Accounting, Budgeting, and Expense Management
• Support intercompany accounting, consolidation, and project accounting processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business goals and deliver measurable value
• Conduct user training, documentation, and post-implementation support
• Demonstrate and communicate the value of Dynamics 365 solutions to business stakeholders
• Work with modern Microsoft technologies including Azure, Power BI, PowerApps, and DevOps

2. What You Bring to the Table:

• 5–8 years of overall experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance with at least one full end-to-end implementation
• Strong functional expertise in core Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Costing, Budgeting, etc.)
• Experience working with US/UK clients and understanding of global finance processes
• Knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain processes
• Exposure to Azure Cloud Platform, Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, Azure Data Lake, and DevOps
• Experience with Azure DevOps and testing tools (e.g., RSAT)
• Strong understanding of financial process design and best practices
• Microsoft Dynamics certifications (MB-300, MB-310, Finance Functional Consultant Associate) are highly desirable
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills

3. You Should Possess the Ability To:

• Lead client discussions and translate business requirements into scalable D365 solutions
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend optimal system configurations
• Manage multiple phases of implementation independently
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Drive process improvements and optimize financial operations
• Deliver high-quality solutions within timelines and project scope
• Adapt quickly to evolving business and technology environments
