Experienced Bartenders/Servers Wanted at Rustico on Slaters Lane!

Rustico is an exuberant neighborhood restaurant driven to deliver a one-two punch of honest, robust cooking against a backdrop of amazing craft beer. Warm, vivacious and adamantly unpretentious, Rustico was designed with good time in mind. With more than 25 beers on draft and another 100 in bottles and cans, a bustling bar scene, and a passionate kitchen committed to its craft, Rustico is a restaurant to visit with family and friends time and time again.

We are looking for fun, energetic individuals who can work in a fast-paced and changing environment. We have both part time and full time positions available.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through cash register or Aloha POS system.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, including private events.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
• Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a serving/bartending role or similar hospitality position is preferred.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Must be of legal drinking age in accordance with local laws and regulations.
