Overview
The Rowan Center for Behavioral Medicine is seeking Licensed Clinical Psychologists to join our behavioral medicine center, offering in-person and telehealth-hybrid options. The hybrid model allows for flexibility in providing both in-person and telehealth visits.
Responsibilities
- Client Support: Work with clients experiencing common concerns, such as depression, anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, and phase-of-life challenges
- Therapeutic Interventions: Provide therapeutic support and interventions tailored to individual client needs
- Evidence-Based Approaches: Utilize evidence-based approaches to address mental health concerns and promote client well-being
- Health-Related Expertise: Offer specialized expertise in health-related behaviors, including chronic pain management, adjustment to chronic illness, or disability (preferred)
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with professional and legal standards
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams as needed to provide comprehensive client care
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans and regularly assess client progress
- Professional Development: Stay current with developments in mental health practices and Health Psychology
- Skill Enhancement: Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance therapeutic skills

Qualifications sought:
- Psy.D, Ph.D.
- Psychologist License (or License-Eligible)
- PSYPACT Credentials
- 2 years minimum experience in a clinical psychology setting
- Minimum of 15 sessions per week
- Must have graduated from an APA-accredited program

- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Designed specifically for behavioral health practices, includes patient portal, clinical measures (both patient and clinician facing, psychometrically validated measures with an interface showing clinical and statistically meaningful cut-offs and references), documentation templates, integrated billing, and more.
- Intake Coordinators: All new patients are screened by our intake coordinators and fit into your schedule based on your clinical specialties.
- Marketing: We pay for all marketing services. Our main source of referrals is from academic medical centers and hospitals.
- Insurance Credentialing: We provide insurance credentialing support to help you get paneled with the insurances we accept (Medicare, Cigna, Aetna, Tricare, and a few others depending on the state).
- Weekly Case Consultations: Providers are welcome to join our optional weekly virtual meetings to consult on cases, or individually reach out to our providers for specialty case consultations.
- National Didactics: We have a free monthly webinar series aimed at promoting education on rehabilitation, health, and medical psychology, open to all mental health professionals. Past speakers have been from Johns Hopkins, University of Rochester, Ohio University, etc.
