Job Description
You are looking for an HR Manager with a strong focus on talent acquisition in the freight/logistics industry. Your primary responsibility will be to drive end-to-end hiring processes for logistics and freight roles, from sourcing to onboarding. Additionally, you will manage core HR operations and ensure smooth employee lifecycle management.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Own and manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for logistics and freight roles.
- Identify, source, and attract relevant candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, references, and industry networks.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial HR rounds, and shortlist candidates based on role fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Evaluate candidates on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage offer rollouts, salary negotiations, and closing candidates.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of pre-qualified candidates.
- Improve hiring processes, reduce turnaround time, and ensure quality hiring.
- Handle onboarding and ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Manage employee relations, queries, and workplace concerns.
- Support performance management processes and employee feedback systems.
- Oversee attendance, leave tracking, payroll coordination, and compensation structures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Support manpower planning aligned with business growth.
- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Assist in training and development programs.
- Maintain HR records, documentation, and MIS reports.
- Use HR tools and systems for tracking, reporting, and analytics.
- Coordinate with vendors and manage administrative activities if required.
- *Qualifications & Requirements:**
- Graduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience, with a robust focus on recruitment in freight/logistics (mandatory).
- Proven experience in sourcing, screening, and closing candidates.
- Strong understanding of logistics roles and hiring challenges in the industry.
- Familiarity with job portals, LinkedIn hiring, and recruitment tools.
- Good communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- *Preferred:**
- Experience hiring for US logistics/freight brokerage roles.
