Job Description

You are looking for an HR Manager with a strong focus on talent acquisition in the freight/logistics industry. Your primary responsibility will be to drive end-to-end hiring processes for logistics and freight roles, from sourcing to onboarding. Additionally, you will manage core HR operations and ensure smooth employee lifecycle management.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Own and manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for logistics and freight roles.
  • Identify, source, and attract relevant candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, references, and industry networks.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial HR rounds, and shortlist candidates based on role fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Evaluate candidates on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Manage offer rollouts, salary negotiations, and closing candidates.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of pre-qualified candidates.
  • Improve hiring processes, reduce turnaround time, and ensure quality hiring.
  • Handle onboarding and ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Manage employee relations, queries, and workplace concerns.
  • Support performance management processes and employee feedback systems.
  • Oversee attendance, leave tracking, payroll coordination, and compensation structures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Support manpower planning aligned with business growth.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Assist in training and development programs.
  • Maintain HR records, documentation, and MIS reports.
  • Use HR tools and systems for tracking, reporting, and analytics.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manage administrative activities if required.
  • *Qualifications & Requirements:**
  • Graduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, with a robust focus on recruitment in freight/logistics (mandatory).
  • Proven experience in sourcing, screening, and closing candidates.
  • Strong understanding of logistics roles and hiring challenges in the industry.
  • Familiarity with job portals, LinkedIn hiring, and recruitment tools.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • *Preferred:**
  • Experience hiring for US logistics/freight brokerage roles.
