General Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Salesforce Platform Administrator to join our team. The

ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and maintenance of

our Salesforce platform. This role will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to

understand their needs, enhance system functionality, and ensure the platform supports our business

objectives effectively. The Salesforce administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of

the Salesforce Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud platforms. That includes managing and optimizing

the infrastructure, ensuring seamless Salesforce updates, scalable architecture, and secure operations.

You Will Have

 3-4 years as a Salesforce platform administrator

 Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) required; Advanced Administrator certification is

a plus.

 Experience with Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud

 Salesforce architecture knowledge

 Familiarity with Salesforce data migration tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard).

 Understanding of integration tools (API connections, middleware).

 Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

 Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to

non-technical audiences.

 Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

 Experience with Apex and Lightning is a plus

 24X5 rotational shifts – need to work with US-based and India-based team members.

You Will Be Responsible For

 Configuring and administering Salesforce Marketing Cloud to align with the strategic needs of the

MDG product team. This includes partnering closely with the Product Team and the Enterprise

Security team to define and manage user roles, business units, and security settings.

 Implementing schema changes in support of significant business evolution to support company

growth.

 Receiving, reviewing and implementing technical/platform requests from a cross-functional team

of Salesforce developers and Rotary staff.

 Designing, documenting, and implementing specific initiatives to improve security and

performance.

 Documenting specific best practices for the Salesforce platform, including lower environment

refreshes, sandbox management and supporting the 3x/year Salesforce updates.

 Creating and managing user profiles and roles and monitor user license counts.

 Managing ongoing Salesforce database schema updates and changes.

 Assisting the product team in pulling data integrity reports and sharing data exports.

 Salesforce release management including Sandbox management, change set tracking, and

requirement collaboration with software development team.

 Providing level 3 support as needed for Salesforce platform related issues.

 Monitoring system performance including managing health check dashboards, setting up alerts

and reacting to alert notifications.

 Researching add-on application packages as needed/requested.

 Monitoring integrations with 3rd party applications.

 Working with other Platform Operations team members to train them on Salesforce platform

administration.
