We are seeking a talented and experienced Production Supervisor - Yard and Briquette Plant at Milton, ON to join our Production Team. The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 CAD. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions. Your future team: You will become part of the Yard and Brick plant team managing a team of 10-15 people and reporting to the Production Manager. What you will be doing: Enforce all safety policies and procedures (including LOTO, PPE, WAH, Confined Space, First Aid) to maintain a safe work environment. Lead, train, and develop employees to ensure they are competent, safe, and aligned with company policies and regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and environmentally compliant yard and briquette plant. Ensure briquettes are produced in the right quantity and quality to meet cupola and fibre chemistry requirements. Oversee proper handling and storage of raw materials and briquettes to prevent quality issues and cross-contamination. Direct raw material and waste handling to ensure continuous, uninterrupted production flow. Execute the daily briquette production schedule and drive operational improvements in the area. Coordinate closely with Maintenance to report defects, reduce downtime, and support equipment reliability. Monitor and report daily KPIs, participate in Rockwool Excellence activities, and support data-driven improvements. Manage performance and attendance (including feedback and reviews) while fostering continuous improvement in people, processes, and equipment. What you bring: 3 to 5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor (Mechanical background) Must have leadership experience in a unionized manufacturing environment. Strong experience working with automated systems/conveyors. Must be WAH, Confined Space and First Aid trained. Sound understanding or Lean Manufacturing principles.
