Marketing Associate

Job Overview

The Marketing Associate supports the development and execution of marketing strategies that strengthen Rock Spring Contracting's brand (internally and externally) and drive growth in the commercial construction industry.

Position Summary

The Marketing Associate assists in managing proposals, digital content, and promotional initiatives that highlight the company's capabilities and help secure new project opportunities. This position works collaboratively with company leadership, project managers, internal staff, and customers to ensure consistent messaging and cohesive communication across all marketing channels. The Marketing Associate assists with social media, website updates, marketing collateral, and company events, while contributing creative ideas to enhance brand visibility. This position requires strong organizational and creative skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. The Marketing Associate reports to the Director of Marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Social Media Management: Assist with Rock Spring's social media accounts, including Instagram and LinkedIn, assisting with content, ideas, calendar, in an effort to increase engagement and followers.
• Website Management: Assist with updates to the company website, including project features, team information, and general content improvements.
• Marketing Materials: Create and maintain marketing assets such as brochures, presentations, flyers, and advertisements.
• Proposals and Bid Materials: Assist in the development of proposal packages and project resumes.
• Internal Communications: Assist with coordinating and publishing the Rock Spring internal newsletter.
• Media and Asset Library: Maintain and organize the Company's comprehensive library of photos, videos, testimonials, and other creative assets; coordinate photoshoots as needed.
• Event Coordination: Support and assist in the planning and execution of internal events, GC/partner events, and sponsorship activities.
• Corporate Giving and Sponsorships: Support the Company's initiatives in charitable donations, sponsorships, and branded giveaways.
• Administrative Marketing Support: Assist with administrative tasks related to marketing, including ordering and maintaining business card orders, assisting with hospitality needs, branded gift purchases, and general marketing logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management abilities.
• Creative design skills with attention to detail and brand consistency.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Ability to take initiative, follow through on projects, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Primarily office-based with occasional visits to job sites and company events.
• Frequent computer use and standard office equipment operation.
• Prolonged periods of desk work.
• Regular on-site schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
