Scope of the Position
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for picking, packing, wrapping, and labeling products in an efficient manner. This position is also responsible for the loading and unloading of regular shipments, which includes heavy lifting up to and including 50 lbs., and the use of any material handling equipment.
Position Overview:
The Project Group Manager will oversee a team of Project Managers, Coordinators and Administrators, ensuring the successful execution of multiple projects by managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications. The role involves managing project workflows, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and driving team performance to deliver successful and compliant project outcomes.
Major Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of Project Coordinators and Administrators, providing direction, coaching, and support to optimize performance.
- Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project plans with the team, monitor progress, mitigate risks, and allocate resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Maintain visibility on team workloads and distribute tasks effectively to optimize productivity.
- Prepare and deliver regular project reports to management, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Identify and address potential risks, implementing strategies to avoid delays, and conduct post-project reviews to improve future outcomes.
- Recommend process improvements, enforce project management methodologies, and provide training on new tools and techniques for the team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management experience in electrical industry, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong abilities with software applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word.
- A positive, “can-do” attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity.
- PMP or similar certification is preferred but not required.
