Roberts Oxygen, a trusted name in industrial, medical, and specialty gases and equipment, is looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Rockville, MD. As the Supply Chain Manager, you will manage all supply chain activities for cryogenic and non-cryogenic liquids, compressed gases, flammable gases, and dry ice. Build trusted relationships and be a partner to internal sales and operations teams to support on-going needs and special requests. You will manage and establish new supplier relationships while developing strategies to optimize distribution models, improve supply efficiency, and reduce runouts.

What makes you stand out?

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing the supply chain. You are proficient with ERP systems, have proven inventory management, forecasting, and negotiation skills. You are self-starter who values professionalism and team work. You create trusting relationships through effective communication. Your ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence others without direct authority have been essential for your success.

Responsibilities and requirements:

• Required - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
• Required – minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management
• Effective negotiator / communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
• Proficient with ERP systems, forecasting tools, and inventory management
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in a Microsoft Office environment, specifically using MS Outlook, Excel, Word
• Ability to apply basic mathematical operation principles
• Excellent writing, communication and media presentation skills - must be comfortable communicating publicly and directly interacting with people in various environments
• Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and meet the physical demands of our environment safely
