Sr Systems Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise-level systems and technologies while ensuring seamless IT operations. The ideal candidate will possess advanced certifications, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with teams.Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain enterprise systems, including Active Directory, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Resolve service tickets efficiently and proactively address system issues to ensure business continuity.
• Provide expert-level insights and recommendations to IT leadership at both enterprise and business unit levels.
• Collaborate with team members to address workloads and assist with additional duties when needed.
• Implement and oversee security measures, leveraging Azure and Microsoft technologies.
• Conduct periodic system upgrades and ensure compliance with best practices for hybrid server environments.
• Take initiative to solve complex issues independently, utilizing available resources effectively.
• Maintain high standards in communication and teamwork to foster a productive and engaged work environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and certifications to provide cutting-edge solutions.
• Travel occasionally for planning meetings or other required engagements.
